For our headquarters in Uppsala, Sweden, we are now seeking a Global Technical Support Manager.
IAR Systems supplies world class products and is acknowledged for providing great technical support for customers all over the world. The quality of support is something we constantly strive to develop further. As the Global Technical Support Manager, you will lead, distribute, and follow up on the tasks within our support organization and that we deliver in accordance with the company´s support offer. You have functional responsibility for the whole support organization (fifteen colleagues) and responsibility as line manager for the support team in Uppsala (eight colleagues).
In this role, you will also have a global responsibility for coordinating the work with our regional support teams, our development department, and our about twenty distributors. You will be globally responsible for making sure the support function has effective processes, escalation routines, and system support.
As a line manager, you have the personnel responsibility for this group; this for example includes setting wages, managing performance reviews and making sure the support group has the right knowledge. You will report to our Customer Relations Director.
An important project in the near future is to implement the support system Salesforce.com within the global support organization. This will be your responsibility, in cooperation with our IT organization.
Profile
You are dedicated and inspiring to others. You are used to keeping time schedules and getting things done.
You have some years of experience with personnel responsibility and preferably a background as support engineer or experience from work within a service organization.
You have a Master of Science in Engineering or another relevant degree.
