Flash demos—IAR visualSTATE® |
| IAR visualSTATE demos show you the benefits of using state machines in embedded systems design. |
Navigator |
The Navigator is used for the overall handling of your development project. From here you can launch the other modules of visualSTATE such as the Code Generator and Verificator.
The Navigator contains a tree browser where you can see the file structure of your workspace. The main window has links to support, documentation, release notes etc. and the bottom window shows the properties of the loaded workspace.

Designer |
The Designer is a state-of-the-art tool for creating state charts. The tree browser allows you to overview and navigate through your project. All elements of the system are visible and accessible through the browser, and a double-click on the desired element brings up the appropriate configuration dialog on the screen.

Validator |
To find out whether the design behaves as intended, you use the Validator. You validate your application by sending events into it or manipulate your hardware; in the different windows you can see the results of the events.

Integration with IAR Embedded Workbench® |
The integration with C-SPY® in IAR Embedded Workbench makes it possible to see what is going on at the target device at the state machine design level. This demo shows how to use C-SPYLink to make true high-level state machine debugging directly in C-SPY Debugger.
