Your team colleagues are located in Uppsala and Munich and you will also be in touch with our sales colleagues in France, the US and the APAC region.

Job description:

At IAR Systems we work with customers from all over the world. As an Account Manager in our office in Munich, you will be building relationships with our customers within the EMEA sales territory. You will work tightly with the local sales team in our Uppsala and Munich offices and will report to the Sales Manager of the Nordics/Germany.

The focus of this role is to help grow the existing customer base, meet or exceed quarterly sales quotas, and at the same time increase customer satisfaction. The sales organization works closely with our customer care and marketing teams as well as with our field application engineers who supports us with the technical aspect in sales. Together we strive to build lasting relationships that bring value to our customers in a friendly and professional manner.

 Tasks include:

  • Responsibility for selling of products and services to new and existing customers within the sales territory
  • Develop and update market strategies and sales opportunities to acquire new customers
  • Be able to do company presentations when meeting prospects, partners and customers
  • Continuously keeping IAR Systems’ global sales system up-to-date with accurate information according to company processes and policies, and monitor the project execution as assigned, while always presenting a professional image
  • Follow reporting and forecasting of sales activities according to the system and standards used within IAR Systems
  • In all activities focus on guiding the customer to the solutions that fit their needs while assuring customer satisfaction
  • During times, 10-20% travel is required.


We are looking for someone who is naturally enthused by connecting with new people and committed to developing collaborative relationships. The ideal candidate is a musketeer spirit: a result-oriented team player with a “can-do” attitude.

In order to thrive in this role you should have a persistent mindset, a proactive approach, and great attention to detail. You are a business-minded self-starter who possesses exceptional time management skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple customers and sales opportunities.

We require you to have experience of dealing with customers, preferably including some sales methodology know-how. You have excellent verbal and written communication skills and are fluent in English and German. Being an experienced user of all Office products and email is also required. If you are experienced working in Salesforce it’s a huge plus, but knowing key principles of any CRM system is meritorious.
