IAR Systems sells its own products to the domestic manufacturing market. The tools are used in various software development sites, from automobile manufacturers and major general electronics manufacturers to small and medium-sized companies and venture companies, supporting Japanese manufacturing. In the Internet of Things (IoT) era, the biggest mission is to further promote market share by appealing the value of the products in a market that will continue to grow.

Position: Account Manager

Reports to: Sales Manager, Japan

Location: Tokyo

We are looking for a B-to-B sales-experienced person. This open position is a very important role to accelerate our business expansion. In this position, you are responsible for managing all sales activities in Japan for the assigned accounts, mainly Large to Mid-sized companies (Home appliances, Industrial FA/ Medical , IoT, Automotive…etc.).

  • Create effective account planning and execute correctly
  • Finding new contacts in development department and reach out to management level.
  • Propose a replacement plan to the accounts who use our competitor’s products.
  • Summarize your success story as best sales practice and share it with your team to contribute the maximization of team result.
  • Create sales plan and report results to your sales managers regularly

As an account sales at IAR Systems. you are responsible for assigned accounts. To succeed in your role, you need to collaborate with other colleagues and teams such as Field Application engineers (FAE) and the Marketing team. For handling customer’s procurement process properly, you need to build a strong relationship with every level of key person. To set forth a replacement proposal by promoting product value and differentiation is crucial for becoming a successful account sales and manage the tough competition in the larger accounts. Our products are top-class and top-share products in the embedded development tool both in the global market and in Japan, so you can concentrate on your sales activities with confidence.

Required skills & experiences

  • 3-5 years of relevant sales experience
  • Continuous proven track record of quota achievement
  • Pipeline management skill to both short- and long-term opportunities
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Be interested in learning new technologies
  • Improve action plans through PDCA cycle with self-task management and problem-solving skills
  • Self-Starter. Take initiative and be proactive at work

We like if you have these skills but it is not mandatory

  • Sales experience in specific industry such as Automotive and Industry (FA)
  • Knowledge of software license sales. Software Package business is plus
  • Fluent English skill (Business Level)
