At IAR Systems we work with customers from all over the world. As an FAE in our office in Munich you will work tightly with our team and regularly with other sales teams and customers across EMEA, where you are in charge of technical presales support. You will be part of a global team with a strong desire to succeed. We are doing everything we can to make sure that our customers receive a comprehensive and professional treatment when they evaluate our development tools.
Building successful and lasting customer relations is important for you as an FAE. To succeed doing that involves being a good listener, rapidly identify the technical needs of the customer and explain the strengths and advantages of IAR Systems products in a way that inspires confidence.
As an FAE you must be interested in technology and C/C++ programming, with a main focus on embedded systems. You will represent IAR Systems at trade fairs and customer events and you will organize talks and training sessions. It is important for an FAE to be able to communicate, present, and educate both externally and internally. To succeed we believe that you have a University engineering degree, preferably in embedded systems. Some professional experience from the IT field will be to your advantage. You will spend 10–20% of your time traveling. You speak German fluently. Moreover, you are at ease in an international environment where English is the dominant language. We welcome proficiency in additional languages and put great emphasis on personal qualifications.
