IAR Systems Korea Co., Ltd. is a 100% subsidiary of IAR Systems Group, who started business in Korea with a local distributor in the early 2000s, and opened its own office in Seoul in 2012. IAR Systems Korea will restructure its organization in 2020 and we are now recruiting a senior sales representative, who can lead the organization at our Seoul office.

We supply the tools and services that make embedded systems development fast, efficient and reliable, enabling our customers worldwide to deliver better products to

Role and Responsibilities: Senior Sales (Potential Sales Team Manager)

This position will be responsible for the revenue of IAR Systems Korea. It includes the following functional activities:

  • Account Sales & Business development
    - Manage major accounts in Korea, proactively and focused on selling the products and solutions
  • Establish Sales team strategy & Analysis
    - Based on timeline, sales targeting and management of team per products & accounts
    - Sales team management through KPI
  • Develop and lead sales processes 
    - Inbound lead qualification, prospecting, opportunity identification and forecast
    - New business development to achieve team goals
    - Execute strategy and implement processes in a self-driven way
  • Marketing & Communication
    - Seminars and Event
    - Press Releases 
    - Advertisements
  • Communication with the Global Team
  • Reporting to the APAC Director
  • Potential candidate for IAR Systems Korea Country Manager, which is currently vacant.

Required Skills & Experiences

  • Min. Bachelor’s Degree
  • Min. 10 years’ sales experience (in any market)
  • Continuous Proven track record of sales.
  • Team leader experience in organizational management.
  • Experienced in or knowledgable about the embedded software development process.
  • Experiences in service and relationship building are highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-driven, comfortable with a fast-paced, always-on, highly ambiguous environment
  • Possess good verbal / written skills in English to be able to deal with people from diverse backgrounds both face to face and on the phone
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and work against tight deadlines or under pressure
  • Account planning skills for large companies
  • Self-reliance and the ability to work without close supervision
  • Display initiative and problem solving ability
  • PDCA cycle management

Preferred Skills & Experiences

  • Min. 1 year experience of working abroad.
  • Working experience from an international company.
  • Professional knowledge of Embedded Software Testing / Validation / Security.
