Customer Care Representative

We are looking for a new member to our Customer Care team in Uppsala working toward Europe, the Middle East and Africa. This position’s responsibilities are partly to handle the logistics related to orders and our warehouse and partly to help and support customers and internal functions. Our goal is to uphold a high standard of order processing, customer service and as an assisting support function to other internal functions within IAR Systems. Join our team!

Role description

Your closest team members will be the EMEA Customer Care team but you will also collaborate and interact with our finance department, account managers, field application engineers, system administrators and our technical support team.

The position basically consists of two parts: Order and Customer Care. You will start your employment by getting into the complete order process which entails:

  • Order processing, packing, and shipping.
  • Invoicing.
  • Organization and upkeep of the warehouse.

Later when you have full understanding of the order part, you will be introduced to the Customer Care part of the job. This part is more oriented toward problem solving for customers, internal functions and entails job tasks such as:

  • Helping customers with license questions, installation problems or simpler technical troubleshooting.
  • Support our sales teams in different ways.
  • Support our finance department with simpler tasks.

Do not be surprised if other temporary assignments occasionally take priority or are added to the to do list – for instance tasks related to campaigns or projects. Since our department’s responsibilities are growing, additional related tasks might be added.

Who are you?

You apply for this position with a long-term mindset and a genuine interest for order processing and case solving. Helping our customers and internal functions is a big part of the job and you therefore have good collaboration skills and are communicative and relationship-building in contact with both customers and colleagues.

To enjoy this position you need to be comfortable in an office with a high working tempo and strive to have control over the orders and customer cases that we get. You are attentive and structured even if the workload is high at times.

To get into the role quickly it is a plus if you have experience from administrative work or logistics – but it is not a requirement. We value your personality highly since we aim to build a strong and lasting team. Since IAR Systems is a global company with mainly international clients, it is however imperative that you have proficient English skills in both speech and writing.
