Operations Manager

About the role

We are looking for the person who can make our team more efficient and productive with professional back office management. Currently, there are two account managers and two engineers on the team, and by the end of 2021 we aim to be 7-8 colleagues on the team. You will be the person responsible not only for task execution as a team player, but also management of business administration.

This position will be responsible for providing excellent Business, Finance and Operations administration that includes, but is not limited to, the following functional activities:

  • Business administration for Customer Care, Finance, Logistics and HR
    • Handle incoming orders with Salesforce CRM system, and delivery in time
    • On time billing to customer after delivery / service completion
    • Check cash collection after billing to ensure there’s no overdue
    • Liaison for processing performance bonds, warranty bonds, L/Cs, etc.
    • Documentation for shipment and provide logistical support
    • Coordinate local HR tasks incl. admin. on boarding, off boarding
  • Office management
    • Maintain office assets and general administration of the office

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, we believe you are experienced in various back office management fields, tasks and responsibilities. The following are the requirements for the role:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5 years of experience in similar role with maturity of judgment and discretion
  • Display initiative and problem solving ability
  • Complete understanding of the administrative duties of the job with a broad understanding of the departmental/technical aspects of the job
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and work to tight deadlines or under pressure
  • Self-driven, comfortable with a fast-paced, always-on, highly ambiguous environment

IAR Systems is a global company in a worldwide market, thus you need to possess strong communication skills (both verbal and written) and be able to deal with people from diverse backgrounds both face to face and on the telephone.
