Operational Manager

About the role
We are looking for a person who can make our team more efficient and productive with professional back-office management experience. There are two account managers, two engineers, and a marketer on the team. You will be the person responsible not only for task execution as a team player but also for the management of business administration and customer care duties.
This position will be responsible for providing excellent Business Operations, Customer Care, Finance, and General Administration that includes, but is not limited to, the following functional activities:
• Business administration for Customer Care, Finance, Logistics and HR
o Handle incoming orders with Salesforce CRM system, and deliver on time
o On-time billing to customers after delivery/service completion
o Check cash collection after billing to ensure there are no overdue
o Liaison for processing performance bonds, warranty bonds, L/Cs, etc.
o Documentation for shipment and provide logistical support
o Support local HR tasks incl. admin. onboarding, off boarding
o Coordinate with local referral agencies on recruitment
• Office management
o Maintaining office assets and general administration of the office
o Negotiate contracts with external vendors
o Other office duties as and when necessary Qualifications To succeed in this role, we believe you are experienced in various back office management fields, tasks, and responsibilities.
The following are the requirements for the role:
• Min. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience in office management
• Min. 7 years of experience in a similar multi-tasking role with a maturity of judgment and discretion
• Display initiative and problem-solving ability as a solution provider
• Complete understanding of the administrative duties of the job with a broad understanding of the departmental/technical aspects of the job
• Experience in cross-functional project management
• Logical thinking, ability to organize, prioritize and work to tight deadlines or under pressure
• Self-driven with a strong mindset, comfortable with a fast-paced, always-on, highly ambiguous environment
• A good negotiator and mediator in PDCA cycle & vendor management
IAR is a global company in a worldwide market, thus you need to possess strong communication skills (both verbal and written) and people skills to be able to deal with people from diverse backgrounds face-to-face and on the telephone.
It is a bonus but not a requirement if you also bring any of the following:
• Experience living abroad
• Working experience in a global company
• Customer Service or Accounting working experience
• Ability to use MS Office well
• Ability to use Salesforce
