Atmel Xplained 보드 및 EDBG

Introduction

An Atmel Xplained board is not recognized by IAR Embedded Workbench for ARM.

Solution

Change the selection in...
Project > Options > Debugger > Setup > Driver
...to be CMSIS-DAP.

Then check (and possibly change) the settings in...
Project > Options > Debugger > CMSIS-DAP.

Background

The Atmel Xplained board(s) has an Atmel proprietary on-board debug probe named "Atmel Embedded Debugger (EDBG)". Atmel EDBG uses the CMSIS-DAP communication protocol.
