AMS expands agreement with Nocom

Web analysis important tool as Sweden's National Labor Market Board improves its website Nocom has signed a contract with the Sweden's National Labor Market Board (AMS) pertaining to the software WebTrends. The contract encompasses new licenses, upgrades of existing licenses, and maintenance and support. With the help of improved web analysis, AMS anticipates both increased technical performance as well as improved user friendliness at the AMS website. By analyzing how visitors use the website, it can be further developed and become an even more important tool for both those seeking employment and AMS employees. "By adapting the website based on visitors' actions, we can subsequently free resources at the local AMS offices, and give more help to those who need it," says Anders Olsson, Internet Division, AMS. "An improved website with high accessibility is also an important step in our efforts in becoming an effective 24-hour authority." The National Labour Market Board's website is complex in structure, with several different operating systems, applications and portal tools. The new solution can handle this, and quickly provide complete and relevant statistics on how the website is actually used. "We see a clear trend that businesses are demanding increasingly sophisticated web analysis. That in detail be able to follow how visitors navigate a site is a prerequisite for being able to adapt it," says Michael Karletorp, Business Unit Manager, Analysis, Nocom. "The new, advanced web analysis tools from WebTrends provide the necessary comprehensive picture of flows and user actions."
