Quarterly Report JanuaryMarch 2001 * Turnover increased by 51 percent to SEK 72.3 million (48.0). * Percentage of turnover based on contracts and transactions was 47 percent (44). * Operating profit/loss before depreciation was SEK -17.4 million (-3.4). * Losses before tax was SEK -33.3 million (-6.9). * Cash flow from current operations was SEK -0.6 million (9.9). * Total employees at the end of the period was 239 (196). * Division of operations into three business units: Nocom Communications, Nocom Travelutions and Tradevision. * Acquisition of Aerohosting AB and outstanding 30 percent of Nocom Mobile Commerce Solutions AB. This provides a strengthened product portfolio for the travel industry. * Nocom's new operations facilities for business-critical hosting and ASP have been commissioned and integrated with Nocom's products and services for the Internet, mobile services and e-logistics. * Several important agreements have been made: - frame agreement with Utfors for consulting services in the Nordic market - several content management contracts - e-logistics services for, among others, Cargo Center Sweden, Fujairah in the United Arab Emirates, SAS/Lufthansa and British Midlands. After the period's close: * Phase-out of investments in Pharma Interactive CGS AB, a portal for prescription-writing physicians. Depreciation of shares burdening net interest income/expenses with SEK 7.0 million. * Restructuring of operations in Gothenburg with new orientation towards system design and system development. Restructuring costs of SEK 3.0 million are included in the operating profit/loss for the first quarter. Forecast 2001 * Profit before amortization of goodwill during quarter four 2001 * Significant reduction of investments during the remaining year compared to Quarter one. Nocom helps its customers to navigate profitably through technology shifts so as to maximize business benefits of having information available on users' terms. Nocom's operations are carried out in three business units. Nocom Communications provides consulting services, software and other services such as ASP services, managed hosting, support, expert consultation and training. The unit's customers are Nordic companies within industry, telecom, banking and finance, commerce and media. The market communications agency Hera and the software distributor Nocom Software are attached to Nocom Communications. Nocom Travelutions provides the travel industry with management consulting services for distribution strategy, the mobile Internet, technology, pricing strategy and infrastructures. Tradevision provides the international transportation industry with e- logistics services that encompass the entire transportation chainfrom consigners, via transportation and service companies, to receivers. Nocom's operations are directed from main offices in Uppsala and the company has offices in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Oslo, Helsinki, Copenhagen, Riga, Warsaw, Frankfurt and London.
