I-jet Trace for Arm Cortex-A/-R/-M provides a fast debugging platform via JTAG and SWD/SWO with download speeds of up to 3.73 MByte/sec and support for SWO speeds of up to 200MHz. The JTAG and Serial Wire Debug (SWD) clocks up to 100MHz (no limit on the MCU clock speed).
Broad support for Arm Cortex-A/R/M
Supports all Arm Cortex-A, Cortex-R, Cortex-M cores from all Silicon Vendors with Automatic core recognition and JTAG/SWD detection. Fully supports Embedded Trace Macrocell (ETM) trace as well as Program Trace Macrocell (PTM). The in-built automatic alignment of parallel trace data skew on individual bits avoid signal integrity problems for best trace quality.
Extensive trace capabilities
I-jet Trace for Arm Cortex-A/-R/-M is equipped with a SuperSpeed USB 3.0 interface reaching 5 Gbps in data transfer from the probe to the IAR C-SPY debugger. The probe is available in 64 Mbyte or 256 Mbyte to match different needs of trace memory size. The trace data collection can be done with up to 16-bit wide with 350MHz ETM trace clock and 64-bit time stamp with CPU cycle accuracy. The probe comes additionally with a Mictor-38 trace header on top MIPI-20 header for high clock frequencies and wide trace data support. Infinite code coverage and profiling is enabled by the included streaming trace feature.
