Functional safety

Supported standards ISO 26262

ISO 26262 is used for automotive safety-related systems. The standard applies to electrical and electronic systems consisting of vehicle hardware and software components. The ISO 26262 standard ensures that sufficient levels of safety are being met and maintained throughout a vehicle's lifecycle.

The IAR certified toolchains are qualified to be used in a standard-conform development process according to ISO 26262:2018 for any Automotive Safety Integrity Level (up to ASIL D).
